- The extruded rubber P-profiles are solid or sponge rubber profile products made with hollow core and a fin in the form of a wing. Rubber P-profiles are often used as self-adhesive weather strip and are made of top quality extruded EPDM rubber – solid or sponge with closed cells.
- Because of the round air chamber, the material is easy to compress and adapts easily to in the unevenness. Also, P-profile made of EPDM rubber can be used to fill relatively large gaps and openings as possible. The self-adhesive layer in case requested has a high adhesive strength and is provided with a reinforcement consisting of a fine network of glass fibers.
- The rubber P-Profile can be used indoor as well as outdoor at temperatures between -50 ° C / + 90 ° C. The recommended minimum application temperature is 5 ° C.
- The P-profiles made of EPDM rubber can be used as a seal in low temperature parts of ovens, stoves, hot and cold air ducts, large and small windows. The rubber P-profile is often used to fill and seal grooves and gaps in windows and doors.
